150cm x 100cm | Charcoal and pastel on paper | £3000 | One of the first of this series, 'Sofa' is one of my most important pieces. Here you see multiple figures intwined with each other whilst sitting on a couch. In this piece, I look at the sofa as a place of solitude and comfort. A place where we think, grow, and time moves around us. The figures in this drawing actually represent just one person, and the different emotions and experiences one can have whilst sitting. I'm really trying to capture time in one frame. The title comes from the multiple experiences we carry, and finding peace in all of them.
