This piece is made up of two overlapping concepts- the blue layer behind holds the serenity of the Sofa series, whilst the red and black figures that begin to emerge over the top come from a photographic shoot of a woman wearing bondage. This piece looks at these two seemingly contrasting characters, both of which can exist in someone at the same time.
